Job summary

ICON Prime is seeking an entrepreneurial, high-impact Associate Business Development Director to expand our defense business across MILCON and MilTech. The role offers significant autonomy to generate, shape, and close complex government opportunities with DoD stakeholders and senior civilian officials.

You will work with Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory teams to ensure BD commitments are technically grounded and aligned with UFC and service requirements, while shaping ICON's product

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business development, capture management, or program management within DoD or military construction.
• Experience with federal government agencies, DoD organizations, or military construction projects.
• Deep fluency in federal procurement, FAR/DFARS, OTAs, IDIQs, DIU and AFWERX pathways.

Responsibilities

• Develop a DoD business development strategy across DoD services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard).
• Build and maintain a federal pipeline and engage offices early to shape opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end capture including qualification, gate reviews, proposal development, and pricing guidance.
