Job summary

The Alaska DMV Call Center is seeking a Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative 1 to answer inbound calls and assist customers with DMV transactions across Alaska and the United States.

You will explain regulations clearly, guide applicants, and maintain professional customer service standards in a fast-paced environment. The role offers hybrid work with occasional in-office trainings in Anchorage.

Qualifications

• Six months of employment experience that included cash handling and working directly with clients or customers.
• Six months of office clerical employment experience providing information to clients, customers, or the general public on services, procedures, and requirements, which included entering or retrieving data using computer systems.
• Substitution: Postsecondary education from an accredited college may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and guide customers through DMV transactions over the phone.
• Explain Alaska statutes, policies, and procedures clearly and provide next steps to the public.
