Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a District Sales Manager- Surgical for Covidien, LP to lead a team of sales professionals and drive regional revenue growth. The role requires field visits, coaching, portfolio management and collaboration across Medtronic units.

Travel up to 50% and 24/7 customer support are expected. Responsibilities include promoting surgical products, educating clinicians, and negotiating local and enterprise agreements while aligning with OR protocol and hospital stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate sales experience for surgical medical devices.
• Promotion of Surgical products within hospital environment to Bariatric, Thoracic, Colorectal, and Surgical Oncology.
• Developing competitive sales strategy encompassing Surgical products and internal business partners to offer customer comprehensive solutions.
• Teaching and educating surgeons, peers and technical support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sales professionals including portfolio management and coaching.
• Conduct field visits and set developmental goals to drive sales performance.
• Promote Medtronic Surgical portfolio and surgeon education.
• Manage clinical study discussions and review published data to support product adoption.
