Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a District Sales Manager for Pain Interventions to lead sales efforts across Indiana and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of medical sales experience and prior leadership. Travel up to 50% is expected, with a focus on regional growth and strategic account

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of medical sales experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching and budgeting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve short and long-term objectives.
• Utilize field visits, meetings, and calls to drive engagement (50% travel).
• Train and develop employees in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, and territory management.
• Coordinate sales efforts and communicate goals across districts and regions.
• Direct and motivate personnel to achieve unit and revenue goals and provide performance feedback.
• Develop budgets and forecasts, manage inventory, and negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Recruit and interview candidates to maintain a strong bench and build leadership capability.
