Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across our South District. You will lead a qualified outside sales team, collaborate with Branch Managers and the Regional Sales & Marketing Director, and ensure achievement of equipment rental and total revenue goals.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7+ years in outside sales or sales management, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and

• 7+ years of outside sales or sales management with proven planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Motivate Outside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed equipment rental, sales and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with District Manager and Branch Managers to develop markets and forecast sales.
• Align Inside Sales Reps activities with Outside Sales Reps’ goals and initiatives.
• Assist Branch Managers in sales blitzes and customer events to improve relationships.
• Promote Key Account revenue generation within the district and optimize Salesforce usage.
