Job summary

You will coach Store Managers, manage staffing, inventory, and compliance while traveling weekly within your market. The position emphasizes leadership, performance improvement, and strong customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit, district, or regional management experience preferred.
• Strong Store Manager experience within a larger convenience store, fuel, retail, grocery, or food service organization will also be considered.
• Experience managing and developing Store Managers or other leaders.
• Experience with recruiting, staffing, employee development, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of retail or convenience store operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, health and safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to analyze store performance and take corrective action.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of a multiple sites in a designated market
• Directly lead, coach, and develop Store Managers, holding them accountable for operational and financial performance
• Visit stores regularly to assess operations, staffing, customer service, cleanliness, and overall execution
• Support Store Managers with recruiting, staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and retention of team members
• Identify staffing gaps and work with Store Managers to ensure appropriate coverage and workforce levels
• Train, coach, and develop Store Managers and frontline employees to build a strong pipeline of talent
• Ensure all locations consistently meet health, safety, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Conduct operational inspections and follow up on areas requiring improvement or corrective action
• Monitor store performance, sales, labor, inventory, and other key operating metrics
• Review store results with Store Managers and develop action plans to address performance opportunities
• Monitor local fuel market conditions and ensure gas pricing remains competitive and appropriately aligned with market changes
• Help ensure stores maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize product shortages, waste, and loss
• Travel regularly between assigned store locations
