Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with distribution projects from kickoff through design approval, including customer interaction and process documentation.
• Experience with utility reliability projects.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the NESC.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; some local/region travel expected.
• Willingness to perform field and office work; field data collection may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop design and construction work packages for overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Review client-provided work and assess scope requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations: wood pole loading, guying, conductor sag/tension, voltage drop, flicker.
• Provide engineering support during construction and post-construction reviews.
