Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Distribution Drafter to join our Power Delivery Solutions team. You will perform drafting and detailing using MicroStation and AutoCAD for utility clients nationwide, collaborating with design engineers to deliver high-quality drawings.

As part of the role, you will produce 2D and 3D drawings, plan and profile for overhead and underground projects, and help develop standards for the Distribution team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; 1+ years of drafting/detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques and procedures.
• Proficiency with vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Ability to modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with file sharing and collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2D and/or 3D drawings in support of the distribution team.
• Create plan and profile drawings for overhead and underground projects.
• Help develop and maintain standards and processes for the Distribution team.
• Support remote office overflow CAD workload as needed and coordinate with CAD leads.
