Reliable Medical is seeking a Discharge Coordinator to support the Discharge Sales Team and key accounts. This role involves managing incoming orders, coordinating essential documents, verifying equipment qualifications based on insurance guidelines, and ensuring medical necessity standards are met for each patient.

The work directly supports the efficiency and impact of the sales team and the quality of care provided to clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in office administration or healthcare documentation roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Parachute to communicate with accounts and collect necessary documentation.
• Coordinate discharges with accounts, patients, families, and Sales Representatives to ensure smooth transitions.
• Respond promptly to equipment requests, delivering responses within the hour.
• Determine qualifications per insurance guidelines and assess medical necessity for compliant patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications related to patient care and equipment management.
