Job summary

Manulife Financial Corporation is seeking an Associate Manager of LTD Claims to lead the disability claim team, drive operational effectiveness, and develop strategies to improve customer service and administration efficiency.

You will coach and mentor staff, monitor workflow, and provide technical guidance on complex claims while building strong relationships with key accounts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Group Disability adjudication and case management.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology.
• Experience in technical training and staff development.
• Post-secondary education in health sciences helpful; bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor and develop staff.
• Monitor workflow management, conduct performance management and hire staff.
• Ensure effective disability management practices are utilized.
• Provide technical support and guidance on complex claims issues.
• Establish and support development of customer relationships with key accounts.
