Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Director, Web Platform Engineering to lead a large-scale Sitecore-based web platform and drive modern headless architecture across the digital ecosystem. You will shape technical strategy, mentor engineers, and partner with product leadership to deliver SEO-led, conversion-focused experiences.

You will stay hands-on while guiding architecture, testing, and deployment practices, enabling AI-enhanced development and scalable content operations across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in web platform or CMS engineering with hands-on Sitecore AI
• Experience with modern headless frontend architectures and deployment on Vercel
• Deep proficiency with enterprise search technologies (Coveo/Algolia/Elasticsearch)
• Proven CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Git
• 5+ years leading engineering teams and mentoring engineers
• Strong collaboration with product peers to shape technical direction
• Hands-on with AI-assisted tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) and automated testing
• Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction and architecture of the web platform.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical strategies.
• Remain hands-on in architecture, coding, design reviews, and standards.
• Lead evolution of a headless Sitecore-based ecosystem with personalization and content delivery.
• Guide site search and discovery for performance and UX.
• Partner with marketing/content teams for CMS and operations.
• Collaborate with data/AI/infrastructure on integrations (Cosmos DB, Salesforce, Databricks).
• Promote AI-enabled development and quality practices, including automated testing.
