Job summary

Vectaur Inc. is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to lead a nationwide network of warehouses. This remote role includes travel across North America and a mandate to develop managers, optimize performance, and standardize practices.

You will design a scalable Warehouse Blueprint, align staffing and equipment with demand, and drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies and ERP optimization across facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in warehouse, depot, distribution, or industrial operations.
• Track record of managing multiple facilities and developing site managers.
• Strong knowledge of inventory flow, staffing, logistics, and fulfillment.
• Experience implementing KPIs and accountability systems.
• Results-driven with focus on productivity, quality, service, and cost control.
• Travel up to ~50–70% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site operations to drive productivity, safety, quality, service, and cost control.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership bench across facilities.
• Oversee receiving, sorting, inspection, repair, inventory, fulfillment, and shipping.
• Align staffing, equipment, capacity with customer demand and transfers.
• Standardize procedures, training, inventory controls, and practices.
• Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and report on performance and budget.
• Improve labor efficiency, throughput, and equipment utilization.
• Develop and implement the Warehouse Blueprint for new locations.
• Partner with transportation, procurement, customer service, finance, IT, and facilities.
• Drive lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar initiatives for gains.
• Strengthen ERP utilization, inventory controls, cycle counting and slotting.
