The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Math/Accounting/Finance, 8+ years in underwriting or related fields, and 5+ years in leadership. Collaboration with Legal, Sales, and Client Engagement is key for accurate bids and sustainable margins.

Qualifications

• 8 years of underwriting, healthcare finance, pricing, consulting, actuarial, or related experience.
• 5 years of leadership/people management experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day guidance to underwriting managers to meet organizational needs.
• Develop and execute ASO pricing and margin strategies with leadership.
• Oversee and coordinate workflow for the underwriting team.
• Collaborate with proposal unit to ensure complete and accurate bid responses for RFPs.
• Consult with Legal and Client Engagement to ensure deal terms support underwriting.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and bids are tracked; partner on staffing and productivity metrics.
• Provide direct support to Blue Plan Leadership and other stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
