Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Underwriting to lead multiple underwriting teams, drive pricing strategy, financial analysis, and competitive proposal development. This role oversees underwriting operations across client segments while ensuring performance and consistency across bids and pricing.

Collaborate with executive leadership to influence business strategy, support growth objectives, and deliver sustainable financial outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent.
8 years of underwriting, healthcare finance, pricing, consulting, actuarial, or related experience.
5 years of leadership/people management experience.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic direction and day to day guidance to underwriting managers to meet organizational needs.
Develops, drives, and executes ASO pricing and margin strategies with leadership.
Oversees and coordinates workflow for the underwriting team.
Ensures complete and accurate responses for RFP financial responses.
Consults with Legal and Client Engagement on contractual deal terms and caveats.
Maintains SOPs, tracks bids, and collaborates on staffing and productivity metrics.
Provides direct support to Blue Plan Leadership and other duties as assigned.
