Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Director of Strategic Pricing & Analytics to partner with Health Plan Relations, Revenue Cycle Management, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership. The role leads payer contract modeling, chargemaster governance, and price transparency analytics to support negotiations and reimbursement optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in health care or health plan analytics.
• Working knowledge of ambulatory surgery payer contract methodologies.
• Expertise in Excel-based modeling, analysis, financial reporting or data analytics.
• Experience leading a team to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead payer contract modeling activities and governance of reimbursement models across markets and service lines.
• Mentor and develop team members in modeling methodologies and analytical best practices.
• Direct chargemaster development, maintenance, and pricing governance for revenue integrity.
• Develop price transparency reporting, dashboards, and market intelligence capabilities.
• Oversee aggregation, validation, and interpretation of pricing data for negotiations and decisions.
• Lead analytics staff to meet department goals and objectives.
• Establish governance processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of payer modeling and reporting.
• Represent HPR on integration committees for acquisitions and mergers with pricing expertise.
• Lead ad hoc reimbursement analyses to support planning and initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement through talent development and tool advancement.
