Job summary

SimpliFed seeks a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to own the end-to-end revenue cycle, from eligibility to cash posting, while leading a hands-on team through migration projects to Healthie and the Candid Health build.

You will drive data integrity, forecasting, and denial reduction, while managing payer relationships and ensuring clean claims and optimized cash flow. This role requires strategic execution and a strong leadership presence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare revenue cycle
• Experience leading a team or function (3+ years)
• Hands-on ownership of a modern billing or claims platform
• Experience with EHR implementation or migration
• Fluency with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer-specific requirements
• Track record of reducing denials and AR days
• Experience managing commercial payer escalations and underpayments

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue cycle including eligibility, verification, charge capture, coding, claims submission, denial management, AR follow-up, patient billing, and cash posting
• Lead configuration of payer rules, fee schedules, and claim edits in the new EHR build
• Oversee Healthie implementation on the revenue cycle side and ensure clean data flow into billing
• Establish a single source of truth for payer, plan, provider, and contract data
• Build and communicate revenue cycle forecasting, cash flow, AR aging, and denial trend reports
• Manage payer relationships, escalations, and performance issues
• Lead and develop a small RCM team and drive scale while controlling costs
