Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of hospital/health care contracting experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Experience with large integrated health care delivery systems.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop contracting strategies for commercial and government networks.
• Negotiate reimbursement contracts and ensure network adequacy.
• Draft agreements for hospitals, large groups, and hospital-based physicians.
• Achieve discounts through contract negotiations and relationships.
• Develop strategies for new provider categories.
• Oversee analysis and reporting for reimbursement strategies.
• Resolve contractual disputes.
• Manage team goals, training, and staffing.
• Oversee budget and financial reporting.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Comply with HIPAA and corporate policies.
• Travel as required to support contracting activities and provider meetings.
