Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Production and Infrastructure Engineering to lead a high-impact team responsible for production readiness, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence in a fast-moving enterprise technology environment.

You will recruit and develop engineers, set priorities, own planning and delivery processes, and provide hands-on technical leadership through design reviews and incident response, while strengthening developer experience and automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience, incl. 5+ years in people management.
• Proven track record building and coaching engineering teams.
• Strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, incl. GCP, AWS, Azure and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps, plus CI/CD processes.
• Background in software engineering with backend services and APIs.
• Leadership in production delivery, incident response, and automated testing.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make timely decisions.

• Build and develop the engineering team through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Lead cross-functional teams by setting priorities and delegating responsibilities.
• Own planning and delivery processes, managing dependencies and scope effectively.
