Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Director of Pipeline Engineering & Construction to lead owner-side development and execution of major transmission projects. The role oversees scope, design, permitting, contracting, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout, reporting to senior leadership with status updates and risk recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering from a U.S. university.
• 10+ years of experience in onshore natural gas transmission pipelines and facilities.
• 5+ years supervising project teams and leading managers/engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Managers and Project Engineers on major greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Oversee scope, design, permitting, contracting, procurement, construction, testing and closeout.
• Ensure safety, cost, schedule, quality and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Develop sourcing strategies and manage contracts, change orders, and risk.
