Job summary

ShiftKey is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to oversee company-wide purchasing, from intake to signed contracts. You’ll negotiate renewals, read terms carefully, and advise leaders on whether to buy new or leverage existing tools.

With a finance background and hands-on IT purchasing experience, you’ll drive cost savings and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Remote-friendly role with a preference for the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• Finance background with budgets, cost analysis, and ability to show deal numbers hold up.
• Hands-on vendor negotiation experience, ideally with software or services.
• End-to-end procurement process experience with track record of progression in the field.
• Executive presence: comfortable in rooms with executives and VPs; decisive when it counts.
• Relationship-building skills to earn trust with business leaders and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and move them through the intake workflow to signed contracts.
• Lead negotiations and renewals for software, cloud services, contractors, and other vendors.
• Review contract terms, licensing, and pricing against the market; push back when necessary.
• Check whether existing tools meet business needs before buying; evaluate alternatives when they don’t.
• Track license usage and renewal dates to ensure timely decisions.
