Ladders is seeking a Director of Procurement & Spend Strategy to lead spend optimization across a mission-driven organization. The role focuses on vendor management, policy creation, and education of senior leaders on procurement standards, with a remote-first arrangement in the United States.

The position requires 8–10 years in indirect procurement, a track record of substantial savings, and strong collaboration with finance and legal teams.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
• Experience in leading and managing procurement teams
• Proven experience managing $15M to $30M+ in addressable spend with 150+ vendor contracts
• Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and working capital optimization in SaaS or high-growth environments
• Expertise in contract literacy and collaboration with legal teams on complex agreements
• Understanding of various software licensing models and procurement tools
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics is preferred

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Procurement Manager and establish clear workflows
• Develop and implement strategies for cost optimization across vendor categories
• Collaborate with the CFO to analyze expenditures and optimize spending
• Create and enforce procurement policies and intake workflows organization-wide
• Manage approximately 150 vendor relationships and negotiate contracts effectively
• Implement procurement digital tools, including Contract Lifecycle Management software
• Educate senior leadership on procurement procedures and financial accountability
