Job summary

Zotec Partners is seeking a Director of Operations Efficiency and Workflow Integrity to transform and optimize our end-to-end workflows. This remote role focuses on automation, data-driven improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, and Compliance.

You will design scalable solutions, mentor a team of workflow professionals, and partner with leaders to remove operational bottlenecks while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in operational excellence, workflow optimization, process automation, analytics, healthcare revenue cycle, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing workflow or automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, revenue, or cost performance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and interaction between processes, technology, payer requirements, and system workflows.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process re-engineering, root-cause analysis or similar methodologies.
• Strong data-analysis skills with ability to translate data into findings and measurable improvements.
• Experience developing test plans, validating solutions, managing exceptions, and quality-control measures.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases and collaboration with tech teams.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop professionals with varying skills.
• Experience partnering across Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Compliance, and other teams.
• Strong project-management including requirements, prioritization, planning, risk management, performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve productivity through automation and re-engineering.
• Lead evaluation of operational needs, define requirements, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Design and implement scalable workflow and automation solutions for efficiency, cost reduction, revenue improvement, and client needs.
• Support analytics initiatives to enhance visibility and automation performance.
• Ensure automation quality through planning, testing, validation, and monitoring.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and drive data-informed redesigns of processes.
• Lead and develop a team of workflow professionals across process improvement, automation, reporting, and documentation.
• Mentor and coach to strengthen problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize end-to-end workflows and determine system opportunities.
• Document standardized workflows and automation solutions to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Establish controls to maintain workflow accuracy, compliance, and quality.
• Lead audits of workflows and automation to identify risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate automation tools and approaches balancing value, scalability, effort and risk.
• Contribute to strategic priorities and organizational goals.
