Job summary

Theiagen Genomics is seeking a Director of Professional Services & Operations to oversee day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and align with strategic goals. This remote-US role partners with executives to translate strategy into actionable plans and ensure high-quality products and services.

You will lead anOperations team, manage workforce planning, and implement scalable frameworks to deliver client engagements efficiently and with excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10+ years of experience in operations, program management, or related roles in a services organization.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable operational processes and systems.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and EOS methodologies.
• Experience in regulated or high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Operations team with a focus on accountability and client service.
• Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and development.
• Establish performance expectations and plan resources to strengthen team capabilities.
• Ensure timely delivery of client engagements aligned with contracts and objectives.
• Develop and optimize delivery frameworks for planning, resources, quality, and execution.
• Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic capacity planning to align resources with demand.
• Balance staffing strategies to support priorities and growth.
• Forecast resources, identify capacity risks, and plan scalable staffing solutions.
• Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training to support growth.
• Foster exceptional client experiences through governance and communication.
