Job summary

Zotec Partners is seeking a Director of Operations Efficiency and Workflow Integrity to drive operational excellence and scalable automation across our organization. This remote role emphasizes optimizing end-to-end workflows, reducing waste, and improving accuracy while guiding a team of workflow professionals.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, Lean Six Sigma, and data-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in operational excellence, workflow optimization, or related fields within healthcare revenue cycle.
• Experience designing and implementing workflow or automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, revenue, or cost performance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and related payer requirements.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Strong data-analysis skills and ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Experience developing test plans, validating solutions, and enforcing quality-control measures.
• Ability to partner with technical teams and document processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity through automation and process re-engineering.
• Lead evaluation of operational needs to define requirements and determine appropriate solutions.
• Design and implement scalable workflow and automation solutions to improve efficiency, cost, and revenue.
• Support analytics initiatives to enhance visibility, efficiency, and automation performance.
• Ensure automation quality through planning, testing, validation, implementation, and monitoring.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and drive data-informed redesigns of processes.
• Lead and develop a team of workflow professionals covering process improvement, automation, reporting, documentation, and support.
• Mentor and coach to strengthen problem-solving, operational, technical, and analytical skills.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize end-to-end workflows.
• Collaborate with Product and Development to identify operational gaps and long-term system solutions.
• Document standardized workflows and automation to support adoption and knowledge sharing.
• Establish controls to maintain workflow accuracy, compliance, and quality.
• Lead audits and assessments to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate automation tools and approaches balancing value, scalability, and risk.
• Contribute to strategic priorities and organizational goals.
