Job summary
Jobot is seeking a dynamic Injection Molding Business Development Manager for a fully remote role in contract manufacturing, focusing on medical device components and services such as micromolding, thermoplastics, LSR, and high-consistency rubber.
You will lead sales strategies, build strong client relationships, collaborate with engineering, and drive growth while managing a sales team. The compensation ranges from $170,000 to $190,000 per year along with full benefits and a car allowance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a plastics/injection molding sales role.
- Proven track record in sales and business development for medical devices OEMs.
- Strong knowledge of micromolding, thermoplastics, LSR and high-consistency rubber.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to expand customer base and meet sales targets.
- Identify markets and monitor competition and product trends.
- Build relationships with key clients and ensure high service levels.
- Collaborate with engineering to create injection molding solutions.
- Drive sales from plan to close and provide forecasts.
- Lead and manage the sales team and report performance.
