Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Director of Human Resources for North American Operations. This remote role, based in the United States with a preference for Eastern or Central time zones, leads HR strategy across manufacturing and distribution locations and partners with Operations and Supply Chain leaders to drive workforce performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least five years in a senior HR leadership role within manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, employee relations, organizational development, and talent management.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies and safety practices for the industry.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the Americas HR strategy across assigned locations and establish consistent expectations and accountability.
• Advise executives on workforce, talent, organization, and leadership decisions.
• Coach HR Managers and Partners; develop site HR capability and ensure service excellence.
• Assess workforce needs, develop staffing and retention plans, and address productivity challenges.
• Oversee employee relations matters, investigations, and escalation with Legal and specialists.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
• Use HR metrics to identify trends and drive action plans with business leaders.
• Ensure compliant and consistent HR practices across facilities; mitigate risks.
• Support safe workplace practices in collaboration with EHS and operations.
• Deliver integrated HR solutions with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Operations.
