Job summary

Communities Unlimited, Inc. seeks a Director of Grant Administration Services to lead the financial and compliance oversight of a large grant portfolio. The role requires deep knowledge of Davis-Bacon, BABA, and 2 CFR Part 200, with strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Masters or higher with preference for public administration, accounting, or business finance; 5+ years in Davis-Bacon/BABA related to grants.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in relevant grants administration in federal/state programs.
• High school diploma with 11 years relevant public admin/accounting experience, incl. 7 years with Davis-Bacon/BABA.

Responsibilities

• Grant administration for subrecipients including municipalities and nonprofits.
• Ensure Davis-Bacon and Build America, Buy America compliance.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial risk; coordinate with CFO.
• Lead client contracts from scope to closeout and provide strategic guidance.
• Develop fee-based services by building relationships with local governments and nonprofits.
