Geneva Search Partners LLC represents a growing third party asset management firm seeking an experienced Director of Fund Accounting to lead fund accounting operations and oversee financial reporting across a portfolio of funds.

This strategic leadership role requires deep expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership within a fast-paced investment management environment. Fully remote with competitive compensation, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Minimum 14+ years of public accounting and/or fund accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP for investment companies.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing complex fund structures and investment portfolios.
• Strong understanding of fund financial statements, capital activity, and investor allocations.
• Experience leading teams and driving operational excellence within an investment management environment.
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all fund accounting and financial reporting activities for investment vehicles.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual fund closes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Review NAV calculations, partner allocations, capital activity, and investor reporting packages.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and investment company accounting requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors, administrators, and service providers.
• Review fund financial statements, supporting schedules, and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with portfolio management, investor relations, operations, and executive leadership teams on fund-related initiatives.
• Develop and enhance accounting policies, controls, and operational procedures.
• Mentor, develop, and manage fund accounting professionals.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and scalable reporting solutions.
