Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions is seeking a Director of Sales and Business Development for Flight Test Instrumentation. This remote US role leads a team across TTC, Acra, and IADS, shaping sales strategy, building executive relationships, and driving profitable growth in a growing aerospace instrumentation portfolio.

The position requires 10 years in leadership sales roles in aerospace/defense, a technical degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Engineering, or other technical field is required.
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance preferred; security clearance required for role.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar sales leadership role in Flight Test Instrumentation or related defense/aerospace markets.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership of multi-million-dollar accounts and teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a high-performing account team across TTC, Acra, and IADS units.
• Develops strategic account plans and expands growth within existing customers.
• Manages senior-level customer relationships and contract negotiations.
• Supports capture strategy and major pursuits with proposal development.
• Forecasts revenue and bookings; aligns strategies with product roadmaps.
• Drove market awareness and maintains relationships with international teams.
