Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions is seeking a Director of Sales & Business Development for Flight Test Instrumentation. Remote- USA role leading a multi-unit sales team across TTC, Acra, and IADS, driving growth and strategic account planning for defense and aerospace customers.

You bring 10+ years in sales leadership, aerospace instrumentation, and strong communication skills to secure multi-million-dollar contracts and strategic partnerships. A TS clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Security clearance required; Active TS clearance preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in a similar sales leadership role, ideally in Flight Test Instrumentation/Aerospace Instrumentation.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to articulate growth strategies to leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing sales team across TTC, Acra, and IADS units; drive accountability and results.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans; identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new ones.
• Forecast revenue and bookings; monitor performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Lead executive-level customer meetings, present growth strategy, and ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Support capture strategy and proposal development for major pursuits; collaborate with ROW sales teams and international units.
• Drive contract renewals, modifications, and long-term agreements with Bid/Proposals teams; attend industry events to build relationships.
