Job summary

Decision Lens is seeking an innovative Director of Contracting to drive growth, shaping acquisition pathways and streamlining the contracting process across defense, federal civilian, and state markets. You will partner across Sales, Finance, and Product to align structures with business objectives and reduce risk.

Your expertise in federal contracting and innovative acquisition strategies will help shorten sales cycles and expand enterprise adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and collaborate with Engineering.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience developing training and enablement materials for diverse audiences.
Experience with AI and emerging technologies in product work.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for contracting, aligning strategies with business objectives.
Lead contracting strategy for new sales, renewals, and expansions; review pricing and deals with Finance.
Partner with Sales and Customer Experience to identify contracting risks and roadmap opportunities.
Develop acquisition, contract vehicle, and channel strategies across defense, federal civilian, and state/local markets.
Advise on contracting rules, subcontracting, data rights, security, and reporting; support performance.
Create and maintain contracting processes and templates; report activity in CRM with automation.
