Job summary

Coeur Mining is seeking a Director, Exploration to lead greenfields and brownfields programs across US & Canada. This role can be remote in the USA or Canada, with regular travel to Chicago head office.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Exploration, you will mentor teams, integrate drilling and geological data, ensure program design, budget discipline, and safe, compliant operations while delivering world-class orebody knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology; advanced degree beneficial.
• Extensive exploration experience with brownfields and greenfields.
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and ownership of outcomes.
• Global perspective with capability to work across sites and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfields and brownfields exploration programs across sites.
• Mentor and develop exploration teams with inclusive leadership.
• Design and improve exploration strategies with data integration.
• Ensure program design aligns with objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Maintain high-quality geological models and robust drill targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Interface with senior leaders to enable alignment and decisions.
• Coordinate with permitting, environmental, technical teams and partners.
