Job summary

P&C Recruiting | H.R. is seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead exploration activities at two mine operations in Idaho. You will develop strategies, supervise underground and surface drilling, and oversee geological modeling and data management.

The role requires a geoscience background, strong leadership, budget oversight, and collaboration with mine operations, engineering, and senior leadership to maximize resource value while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• 7+ years in mineral exploration with leadership experience.
• Experience with underground hard rock mining and exploration programs.
• PG or P.Geo designation preferred.
• Experience managing underground diamond drilling programs, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of geological modeling and resource development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short- and long-term exploration strategies for two mines.
• Lead underground and surface exploration programs, including drilling planning and evaluation.
• Oversee exploration budgets, forecasts, and project schedules.
• Manage personnel, contractors, and technical service providers.
• Oversee geological mapping, logging, sampling, and data QA/QC.
• Interpret geoscience data to identify and advance targets.
