Job summary

Humana, Inc. in the United States seeks a Director of Enterprise Architecture Activation to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and roadmap guidance. You will lead a team of architects, guiding activation of standards and patterns to address complex business issues.

You will engage with stakeholders to ensure architectures meet outcomes and are executable, and participate in governance to ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8 or more years of technical experience.
• 5 or more years of management experience.
• Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems.
• 10 or more years design, development, and testing of software applications.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps.
• Guides a team of architects through activation of architecture principals, patterns, standards to address and solve business issues.
• Engages with stakeholders to ensure architectures created for business or technical solutions meet the expected outcomes and can be technically executed.
• Identifies information technology architectures and facilitates architecture development with a clear line of sight to business goals.
• Participates in governance activities to ensure compliance with enterprise and solution architecture standards.
• Provides leadership in developing the organization's technical and architectural staff.
