Job summary

Whitlock Consulting Group in Charleston, SC seeks a Director of Project Management to lead delivery for WCG Delivery. This senior, full-time role drives complex software implementations, sets PMO standards, and mentors project managers across engagements.

You will bridge software development, delivery, and client teams while establishing scalable processes and governance in a fast-growth SI practice. Remote work with travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Substantial project management experience leading complex software implementations.
• Experience with software vendor or systems implementor environments (CIS or utility-sector experience a plus).
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and project scope.
• Experience building PMO standards and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager on key implementation projects (approx. 60–80 hours/month).
• Define and document WCG Delivery’s project standards, delivery methodology, and PMO framework.
• Act as the bridge between software developers, the delivery team, and the client.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risk across engagements.
• Mentor and train other project managers.
• Provide executive-level project reporting and steering committee facilitation.
• All other duties as assigned.
