Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national SME in Commercial Property & Casualty and agency operations. The role partners with leadership to improve workflows, performance, and service delivery while driving scale across the organization.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license with 5–7+ years in operational leadership at a large brokerage, with CPCU/CIC preferred and EPIC experience. Remote-first role with potential on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, and processes.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives to strengthen operations and client service.
• Lead workflow standardization, process optimization, and capacity planning.
• Drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making.
• Support M&A integration efforts and cross-functional collaboration.
• Promote efficient use of EPIC, reporting tools, and technology platforms.
• Influence leaders in a highly matrixed organization and manage change.
