Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations. Fully remote preferred with Central Time Zone hours; hybrid onsite may be required for some locations within 50 miles of branch sites.

The role partners with senior leadership to standardize workflows, optimize processes, plan staffing, and drive growth while ensuring top‑notch service and shareholder value. Strong analytics, change leadership, and M&A integration experience are key.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Align with Managed Services to optimize resources.
• Provide SME guidance on agency operations and EPIC systems.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through operational planning.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive change.
• Promote use of systems and reporting tools to improve performance.
• Lead change management and professional development.
