Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations. Fully remote preferred with Central Time Zone hours; on-site work may be required within 50 miles of a branch as needed.

The role partners with divisional leadership to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and support M&A integration. 5–7+ years of commercial lines leadership, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC preferred, EPIC experience, and strong stakeholder management are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to develop and execute initiatives for Commercial Lines operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement and workforce planning to support growth.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
