Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, standardize workflows, and drive performance with divisional leaders. The role partners with producers, account teams, and operations to deliver exceptional client service and scalable processes.

Strong leadership, analytics, and experience in M&A integration are required. Remote work is supported with preferred Central Time hours; occasional onsite presence may be required in some

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, and processes.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• Strong communication and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Ensure alignment with Managed Services and organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
