Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. The role partners with regional leaders to standardize workflows, enhance service delivery, and scale operations while supporting M&A initiatives and strategic workforce planning.

You will drive process improvements, mentor teams, and collaborate with producers and leadership to maximize client value and shareholder return.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions improving efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing, workload, and service demands to support growth and planning.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive adoption of strategic initiatives.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, workflows, reporting tools, and relevant tech platforms.
• Drive change leadership and professional development across the team.
