Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, partnering with Divisional and Regional Leadership to advance the agency's Commercial P&C operating model and drive performance.

You will own workflow standardization, process optimization, workforce planning, and M&A integration support, advising producers, account teams, and leaders to deliver exceptional client service and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze workload and capacity to support growth and staffing plans.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resource utilization.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through planning and alignment of processes.
• Partner with producers and operations to drive engagement and accountability.
• Promote use of EPIC, workflows, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Monitor performance using metrics and BI for improvement opportunities.
• Lead change management to adopt new processes and practices.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and IOA values.
