Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations in a high-growth insurance brokerage environment. The role partners with regional leaders to advance performance, standardize workflows, and drive enterprise value.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines operational leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations. EPIC experience and strong stakeholder skills are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with Divisional and Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity needs to support growth.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and EPIC usage.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
