Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations for Commercial Property & Casualty across the brokerage. You will partner with divisional leaders to standardize workflows, optimize performance, and support growth through strategic initiatives.

The role requires 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU/CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and workflows.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience with root cause analysis and sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning and capacity management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers/acquisitions and operational integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Applied EPIC experience is strongly preferred.

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement to increase productivity and quality.
• Evaluate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
• Align resources with organizational goals in Managed Services.
• Provide guidance as a national Commercial P&C SME.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers and operations to drive execution.
• Promote EPIC usage and technology optimization.
• Use metrics to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Lead organizational change and adoption of new practices.
• Maintain ongoing professional development.
