Job summary

SEI Corporation is seeking a Business Development Director to drive growth in the Independent Broker/Dealer channel across Ohio and Kentucky. You will lead territory plans, build client relationships, and coordinate with an Account Executive to convert opportunities through multiple channels.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in financial services sales, an MBA/CFP preferred, and Series 65/66 licensing or ability to obtain it quickly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial services client sales and service support, with IBD channel sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
• MBA and/or CFP credentials preferred.
• Series 65 or 66 license or ability to acquire within 90 days.
• Strong multi-channel communication and ability to influence decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and territory management for the IBD channel.
• Coordinate with the Account Executive to drive territory strategy.
• Analyze market data, trends, and competitor behavior to grow clients.
• Engage clients via in-person, virtual, phone, and email presentations to drive sales.
• Educate clients on SEI solutions across custody, technology, and asset management.
