Job summary

SEI Investments Management Corporation seeks a Business Development Director to lead client acquisition, onboarding and activation in the RIA channel, with territory growth across California. You will partner with an Account Executive and cross‑functionally across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Service to drive assets and relationships.

Expect to travel up to 80% and mentor a junior sales professional while shaping strategies to penetrate existing firm-clients with SEI solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial services client sales and service support, with direct RIA channel sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA/CFP preferred.
• NASAA Series 65 or 66 license or ability to acquire within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and territory management for predominantly SEC-registered RIA firms.
• Coordinate with Account Executive to drive territory strategy and growth; mentor junior sales professionals.
• Educate clients on SEI’s custody, technology and investment-management solutions to increase share of wallet.
