Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Director, NeoCloud Sales to lead the Go-To-Market for NeoClouds from a remote US base. You will own quota, build a team of BD Pursuit Specialists and AEs, and drive executive-level deals with Top NeoClouds.

You will map markets, define pursuit plans, negotiate SLAs and revenue sharing, and collaborate with Field CTO, Strategic Partnerships, SE, and Cloud Operations to close multi-year contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a field-facing storage/AI infrastructure sales team.
• Proven track record closing multi-year, executive-level deals.
• Ability to build and coach a quota-bearing segment from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Land and grow five of the Top 25 NeoClouds as meaningful customers.
• Deliver $20M in total contract value across the base.
• Expand NeoCloud base outside committed contracts.
• Own pipeline and forecast for the whole segment.
• Hire, onboard, and coach BD Pursuit Specialists / AEs.
• Write the pursuit plan for the Top 25 NeoClouds.
• Negotiate SLAs, IP, revenue share, and IaaS terms.
• Secure executive sponsorship for priority accounts.
• Take over open NeoCloud opportunities by end of Q1.
