Job summary

Designer Brands, the parent company of DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, invites a Director to lead merchandising and store technology across banners in the US and Canada. Remote role focused on strategy, roadmaps, and delivery of POS, inventory, and store hardware solutions.

You will partner with senior leaders to align tech with business goals, drive innovation, and ensure security and PCI compliance while growing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology leadership for retail merchandising or store tech.
• Experience managing large tech portfolios and budgets.
• Knowledge of POS, inventory systems, PCI, security and governance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technology strategy for retail merchandising systems and store platforms.
• Lead roadmaps for POS, inventory, and store hardware.
• Ensure governance, security, and PCI compliance across the retail tech stack.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams delivering scalable solutions.
