Job summary
The American Cancer Society is seeking a Director, IT, Product & Portfolio Center to lead a team of product managers, business analysts, and project managers. You will drive the technology roadmap, manage a diverse portfolio, and ensure governance, risk mitigation, and value delivery across enterprise initiatives.
This fully remote role requires PMP/Agile experience and onsite onboarding on day one. Strong collaboration with IT and business leaders is essential to align with strategic priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; IT product/portfolio focus preferred.
- PMP, CSPO or SAFe POPM certification required; CAL-E/CAL-T preferred.
- 8–10 years IT product/portfolio management experience, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of product managers, analysts and project managers with coaching and accountability.
- Oversees roadmap planning, execution and delivery of technology products and platforms.
- Translates enterprise priorities into product vision, features and governance.
- Manages portfolio resources, budgets and vendor engagements.
- Monitors portfolio health, ROI and alignment with business outcomes.
- Drives continuous improvement of PM practices, tools and governance.
