Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Director of IT, Product & Portfolio Center. This executive leads a team of product managers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver innovative technologies that advance enterprise goals.

The role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and strong governance across IT and enterprise functions. Remote, home-based anywhere in the United States, with onsite day-one activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• PMP/CSPO/SAFe POPM certification required; CAL-E/CAL-T preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of product management and delivery professionals; sets goals and coaches for growth.
• Oversees roadmap planning, execution, and delivery of tech products and initiatives.
• Partners with business leaders to translate priorities into product vision and governance.
• Manages portfolio resources, budgets, and vendor engagements to ensure value delivery.
• Monitors portfolio health, risks, ROI, and alignment with business outcomes.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of PM practices, tools, and governance.
