Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Director, Retrieval Operations – Inventory Strategy to translate client demand into actionable inventory plans across retrieval channels and vendor partners. You will forecast, prioritize, route, allocate, and govern inventory with a data‑driven approach and close cross‑functional collaboration.

You will partner with Operations, Workforce Management, Call Center, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance to optimize spend, yield, and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years in operations, inventory planning, or related areas.
• Experience translating forecasts into production and capacity plans.
• Strong cross‑functional influence and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory strategy and planning for payer retrieval across channels.
• Develop forecasting, segmentation, and prioritization based on commitments.
• Define routing rules across channels to balance cost and service levels.
• Monitor performance, manage risks, and lead recovery when behind pace.
• Collaborate with Workforce, Product, Engineering and Analytics teams.
• Create dashboards and governance to measure health and yield.
• Partner with Call Center to optimize human vs. AI outreach.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Inventory Strategy team.
